"This wine is sourced from local Wilyabrup Valley vineyards.
Winemaking is simple and hands off - harvested, destemmed, sorted, and gently pressed. Fermentation proceeded without additions- up to 4 weeks in a mix of new and seasoned French barrels. The wine was then transferred to tank to retain freshness and acidity, before bottling in late June.
Our Chardonnay is pale gold in colour. On the nose, it flares nuances of nectarine, apricot, pink lady apple, lemon rind and cashew.
The orchard fruits carry through to the palate, together with notes of grapefruit, stone fruit, and grilled nuts. Soft natural acidity delivers a refreshing finish to the wine." -Woodlands
