King River x Carwyn Cellars - KRB Dortmunter Lager 6.6% | 440ml | King River x Thornbury, VIC We came together with our friends at Carwyn to create the perfect Oktoberfest bier. We drew our inspiration from 150 year old German traditions and have spared no expense. Using premium specialty craft malt from Voyager and German yeast to create a strong clean lager you can happily drink by the stein. It is brewed with a heavy addition of both pale and rolled wheat to create a rich and smooth body. It is fermented on a traditional Munich Ale yeast strain that gives lashing of ripe banana that develops into a slightly spicy clove finish. The colour is a striking orange with a medium haze. This Hefeweizen was naturally carbonated to provide a thick, dense white head full of aroma and flavour. White Bay - Oktoberfest Doppelbock 7.5% | 440ml | Balmain, NSW Using a selection of German malts, with a majority Munich base, this beer is packed with rich toasty, bready, caramel aroma and flavour. Huell Melon hops used to provide some underlying bitterness without overpowering the palate. Underwent a 3 step mash and cold conditioned for many moons to ensure the best result for our Oktoberfest punters. Unfiltered and naturally carbed.
