Kitchen Hand & Food Runner [Casual]
As the Carwyn Kitchen (at Carwyn Cellars) continues to grow, we are looking for a new face to help us through the cooler months.
We're seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hand & Food Runner to join our team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly! This is a casual role (approx. 20 hours per week) based in Thornbury, VIC. Nighttime availability required (9:30pm finish) with days likely to be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with options to rotate depending on demand. Perks include sweet booze discounts and our “Magnumpalooza” Xmas Party.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment efficiently.
- Assisting with basic food preparation under the direction of the chefs.
- Food running.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including floors, benchtops, and storage areas.
- Receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Assisting the chefs with any other tasks as required.

Bottleshop [Casual]
We’re on the hunt for an experienced bottleshop casual. With one of the most diverse ranges of (mostly independent) craft booze products in the country, we are looking for someone who knows their stuff, has liquor retail experience and has good availability (during the week and weekends). If this sounds like you and you tick the boxes below, then we’d love to hear from you!
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- A keen interest in craft beer, wine and spirits
- A knowledge of basic beer styles and craft beer trends
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- The ability to handle a fast-paced working environment
- Thrive in a team environment
- Experience in liquor retail
- Current RSA certificate
- Good availability across the week
