Bar Supervisor [Full Time]
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supervisor or someone with bar experience looking to take the next step at one of the most renowned craft beer venues in the country. This is a hands-on role responsible for the smooth running of the bar during busy service times. The ideal candidate will be comfortable around beer tap systems and cocktail service.
Duties include:
- Venue setup and pack down
- Running a seamless service day to day
- Occasional event setup and assistance
- Supervising staff
- Cocktail batching & service
- Keg changing and tap system troubleshooting
- Cash ups
- Reporting to and assisting management where needed
You will need to be:
- Organised and proactive
- Calm under pressure with good problem solving skills
- Comfortable in handling complex guest interactions and difficult situations with composure and confidence.
- Experienced with supervisor or management roles (preferred, but not a deal breaker)
- Have a rock-solid understanding of the basic styles and regions for beer, wine and spirits.
- Available night and weekends (we are not a late-night venue though!)
- Excited to drink and talk about beer and all manner of craft booze
- Available weekends and have a valid Victorian RSA.
