Made with the juice of red wine and strained from the skins before it becomes to dark, Rose can vary from fruity (think Grenache, Sangiovese, Mourvedre & Pinot Noir), to savoury (think Cab Sauv, Tempranillo & Shiraz), to sweet (think Zinfandel).
