"The black label is our place to try new things and to challenge some ideas. Founded in minimal intervention techniques throughout and bottled without fining so as not to fight against all the layers and edges we'd allowed to exist.
This lively number leaps out of the candy jar with watermelon bubblegum, Turkish delight and pear drop.
Following that up is all kinds of fun. From succulent ripe stone fruit, rosewater and ginger to a hint of spring florals and white pepper.
There's grip too. Acidity is bracing, contrasting the medium pallet weight and phenolic tension.
It's seductive.
