"A spontaneously fermented farmhouse ale aged in oak barrels with plums grown in the Derwent Valley. Predominantly the Satsuma variety with Prune d'Argen from a neighbour's garden. This release is a multi-year blend of 2017 (5%), 2018 (39%), 2019 (34%) & 2020 (18%) editions of our plum project. We release this product at 6-years old (on average). Subtle almond characters from the pip - the core of the fruit - and a velvety texture spiced up by the wildly complex and extremely numerous acidities originating from this genuinely complex, multi-species fermentation.
