Among the first 3 whiskies independently bottled by Thornbury Spirits Co., this is a single cask expression of some of the oldest Sullivans Cove whisky around. HH0367 was distilled in 2000 and aged in an ex-bourbon cask for 17 years and bottled at 57.5% ABV. 17 years is a pretty decent age even for most Scotch whiskies, but by Tasmanian whisky standards, it equates to old, wise and quietly pensive. There is a great deal of depth here; it isn’t overpowering, but it certainly retains a healthy presence.
