"Paddy Devlin ran a tavern just east of our vineyards in the 1800s. Legend has it that Paddy tired of the plentiful freshly caught fish, preferring the local beef. Pity that it wasn't his beef... His cattle thieving days came to an abrupt end with his mysterious disappearance. A shallow grave containing his bullet-ridden skull and the remnants of his distinctive red beard was eventually found.
