Sister's Run - St Ann's McLaren Vale Grenache 750ml
"St Ann’s McLaren Vale Grenache need not be the last; but first glass you have. A true expression of Grenache procured from the McLaren Vale in all it's fruitful glory. Lovely sipping on one's own, with friends or almost any dish and a second glass.
Colour: Mild purple-velvet. A colour that might suit a young person’s bowtie.
Nose: Mulberry and blackberry preserve; classic grenache aromatics of boiled lollies and berried confectionery. Spice, also; aniseed, lemon thyme.... Lifting and light and attractive.
Entry: The palate tingles with more mulberry, plum and blackberry fruits which are both mouthf illing and quick-silvered.
Middle Palate: The hint of fruit depth, yet an overall medium-bodied tone and texture.
After Palate: Speaking of which: gentle tannins and quietly spoken acidity.
Finish: Youthful austerity you would expect from McLaren Vale Grenache but fine and f lavoursome keeping with the sensations registered by the nose." - Sister's Run
