"Perfumed and elegant, a red fruit profile of sour cherries, strawberries and red plum with a touch of forest floor and clove spice. The wine has a savoury palate with silky tannins and fresh acidity.

This fruit comes from a small hobby vineyard on the edge of the Yarra Valley, closer to Melbourne. The vineyard is over 30 years old and is managed in a hands-off manner, with chickens and ducks free to roam around the rows. The mature MV6 vines have found their natural balance on this site, allowing the vineyard to be dry-grown, while still producing a healthy crop.

Fermented whole-bunch, stomped by foot and hand plunged once a day before gentle basket pressing. Matured in a 500L Seasoned Puncheon for 10 months with one rack leaving behind the gross lees. Bottled, sealed, and labelled on site. " -Muto
