"These wines are a celebration of the Limestone Coast which is located half (mezzo) way between Melbourne and Adelaide. The cool climate and terra rossa over limestone soils produce wines which are startling in their quality with distinct varietal character, depth of flavour and high levels of freshness and natural acidity. Use of the name 'mezzo' is a nod to the numerous generational families of Italian descent who have established and worked on the vineyards in the district.
