Kilikanoon - Mort's Reserve Riesling 2019 750ml

"An icon of the Kilikanoon stable, this refined wine is an ode to the place, its people and their vision. This wine is named after our founding winemaker’s father, Mort. Mort established many of the original vineyards of Kilikanoon. This single vineyard wine is grown, fermented and cellared with the sole purpose of capturing the essence of these famed Watervale vineyards.

Appearance: Very pale lemon with a straw hue the wine has a bight clarity.

Nose: A very complex yet subtle aroma of jasmine flowers, white nectarine and lime juice.

Palate: The wine has a seamless flow with a softened acidity at the core that carries the lime and lemon flavours, hints of thyme all tightly wound around a fine, chalky acidity. 2019 is generous vintage that is reflected in the concentration of fruit on the palate while holding a firm line that lingers on the finish." -Kilikanoon
