"Hand-picked from select rows of the Hueppauff family vineyard neighbouring the Château. The grapes are partially destemmed with 60% separated for whole bunch fermentation before primary ferment. This was followed by careful basket pressing before 12 months maturation in seasoned French oak puncheons in our cellar.

A medium bodied wine with aromas of blackberry, plum and white pepper supported by spicy, dark berry fruits and rich dark chocolate on the palate. The extensive finish is framed by elegant, fine-grained tannins." - Chateau Tanunda
