"Aged in freshly emptied whisky barrels from our friends at Starward Whisky Distillery in Port Melbourne, Ramjet 2018 is a big beer with great malt complexity. Sitting at 13.4% the whisky character shines through very nicely. Behind that are the great dark chocolate and coffee notes from the malt and a solid presence of the ex red wine barrels used to age the whisky and the beer. Overall, the beer is well balanced but on the boozy side. As this beer ages, further integration of the flavours will occur." - Boatrocker
