Adelaide Hills - Native Grain Whisky 700ml
"We believe experimentation sometimes yields amazing results. Our program of using Native Australian grain in selected mashes as resulted in spirits of unique Australian character. This project, in its infancy continues to teach us that monther nature seems to have no bounds.
This produce endemic to Australia that we experiment with, not only unfolds into never seen aromas and flavours, but allows us to utilise crops that need minimal input from irrigation and fertilisation. The ingredients by their very nature are a more sustainable substitute.
We look forward to sharing the ever-evolving results, most of which are only just beginning to unfold in the barrels in which they are housed.
Native Grain Whiskey's Tasting Profile:
- Wattleseed: Dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dried fruits.
- Barley Malt: Caramel, toasted cereal and hints of citrus.
- French Oak: Spicy ginger notes.
- Ex-Cabernet Frac Barrles: Bright red fruit character.
