"Our Syrah wine is made from grapes grown in the Saddleback vineyard (Victorian Pyrenees) by Corey Hope for M. Chapoutier. The vineyard is NASAA Certified Organic, is a considerably cooler microclimate and its soils are a complex mix of mudstone and shale generously dotted with white quartz. The grapes are fermented 100% whole cluster and aged in a mix of French oak barriques and puncheons." - A & C Ainsworth
