"3 Fonteinen “Intens Rood” is the result of macerating whole cherries, hand-picked, in traditional lambic, for at least six months and in a proportion of one kilo per litre. Then, the kriek lambic is assembled with young lambic in order to obtain and an intensity of min. 450 grams of fruit per litre. After maturing in the bottle for at least six months, a robust Oude Kriek is created, which evolves in the glass, just like a Pinot Noir.
The only 750ml Intens Rood of the 18|19 season. This blend has been macerated on cherries for 6,5 months. The final fruit intensity is 485 grams of cherries per liter of Intense Red." -3 Fonteinen
