This particular Cuvée Armand & Gaston was assembled with lambic from 6 different barrels and comes from 10 different brews. The oldest brew is from January 17, 2014 and was actually intended for Straffe Winter (but again forgotten). The weighted average age of this gueuze is approximately five years at launch.
End of 2017, after six months in the warm room, this Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston showed exceptional aging potential. That is why we chose to let it age longer to let it reach its full potential.
