Working Title is a project by former Newstead Brewing co-owner and head-brewer Mark Howes, and graphic designer guru Luke Shield. Brains and passion drive the heart of this brewery and they truly are a dynamic duo. No core range, just limited release after limited release, exploring the wide world of beer (and more).
Since they took over the old Newstead Brewing Doggett St location back in 2023 (after a couple of years of brewing in someone else's kit) nothing has stopped these legends from making excellent beers (their Red IPAs might be some of the best in the entire country), experimenting with odd techniques and ingredients (Raw beers, Pine, Pretzels, and obscure styles), plus making mead! Their social posts, particularly their "Beer Geek Wednesdays", are a true wonder, with notable pop-culture references and just having a lot of fun while at it!
