"Fruit from the Woodlands Brook vineyard, 100% wild ferment, on skins for up to 32 days, matured in French oak for 17 months (60% new). Savoury, dense and packed with flavour, this has cassis, tobacco, Szechuan peppercorns, bramble and even shades of pomegranate. The highlight however, is the tannin profile: it is absolutely everywhere in the mouth, giving the wine substance and chew. This is clearly a wine that will perform well in the cellar, should you choose to do that. Otherwise, drinking it now will provide much pleasure, if you decant it.
