"Dry, very textural, loaded with red berries, and stacks of aciditiy.
The fruit comes from our Barfold vineyard in Heathcote. Barfold is located at the southern tip of the Heathcote wine region, and the vineyard is one of the coolest in the region. The vines are planted on deep red soils punctuated with quartz, gravel and sandstone. Located at the cooler southern end of Heathcote, only a couple of kilometres from the border with Macedon, this vineyard always produces fruit with exceptionally acidity." - Trutta
