"The second vintage of a new vin jaune first produced in 2011, the 2012 Arbois Vin Jaune La Mailloche comes from the same terroir as the Chardonnay of the same name. They acquired 0.35 hectares of Savagnin in 2009 and moved to organic and biodynamic farming for at least three years before they decided to make vin jaune. Here, I find the terroir character I found in the white wine before—mineral, austere and very tasty. 95 Points" -Wine Advocate
