"The Smith & Hooper Pinot Grigio shows the purity of our Wrattonbully vineyards and the delicacy and flavour of the variety.

Grapes were gently pressed to minimise colour and tannin extraction from the pink skins. Fermentation proceeded on full solids, conducted by yeast indigenous to the vineyard. The wine was then left on its lees until preparation for bottling.

Pale straw in colour with green hues. Aromas of fresh pear juice with hints of red apple and strawberry. The pear and strawberry flavours continue on the palate, where they are joined with custard apple and anise, creating a rich and succulent palate. The wine finishes with lingering acidity and a hint of musk.

Pair with chicken saltimbocca, Thai-style grilled eggplant, or an avocado and green apple salad." - Smith & Hooper
