The barrel stock we tasted through to choose the 2021 BBT blend is the exact same stock that we pull from for the Derivations and all of our stouts. We have brewed 17 different stout recipes, aged them in a variety of barrels, and then always thoughtfully selected and blended to achieve our goals, whether it be Beer : Barrel : Time, a new blend of Derivation or the Barrel-Aged Stouts by Shared Brewing.

For Beer : Barrel : Time 2021, we chose a blend of our stout recipes that consists of:
• Stout Recipe Names – O.W.K., Vibes, Gen, Chocolate
• Barrels – Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Willett Bourbon, 4 Roses OBSV, Weller 12 year, Jim Beam
• Time Aged in Oak – 14 to 42 months

We believe BBT 2021 showcases the rich chocolate and sweet coconut notes of this massive style while also providing the needed roundness and integration of the bourbon and oak characteristics to produce a harmonious experience.

Pulling Nails Blend #15

Style: Cherry & Raspberry Wild Ale
ABV: 7.0%

Pulling Nails is an ongoing experiment in the art of blending to create sour and wild ales of extraordinary depth, complexity and balance. Blend #15 is an homage to one of our favourite blends, #8, where we let the harmony of our Wild Ales and the duet of a Cherry / Raspberry fruiting which was then blended and naturally conditioned in this bottle for several months before its release.

Red Plum Saison du Ble

Style: Barrel Aged Plum Saison
ABV: 6.0%

Red Plum du Blé is our first fruited iteration of our fluffy, tart, Missouri Wheat Saison. We matured Saison du Blé in oak until it was ready, and then racked it on top of Oregon Red Plums. The wheat balances a very dry body with a creamy, billowy mouthfeel, and our local microflora adds complexity and acidity in conjunction with the soft fruit addition. We aged this Saison until it was ready and then slowly allowed it to bottle condition for several months before sharing it with you.
