"This Vegan friendly wine was made with handpicked fruit from the Chalmers Merbein vineyard, crushed and pressed straight away to minimise any contact with the grape skins. It was left to ferment naturally without any chilling or clarification with the only addition to this wine being a small amount of sulphur prior to bottling.

This lack of contact with the grape skins extracts a different array of flavours when compared to the Vermentino Ambra which sees 7 days of skin contact.

Drinking these wines side by side is the perfect way to experience the effect that skin contact has on white grape varieties as both wines were made from the same parcel of handpicked fruit." - Sea Chicken Wines
