"The 2016 Royal St. Robert cuvée is dedicated to our grandfather Robert Mondavi, who taught us to be committed to excellence. 2016 brought rains that helped to replenish our vines and restore our vineyards from the previous drought. These rejuvenating spring storms were followed by a beautiful growing season that was cooler than average, resulting in wines with incredible balance and finesse that embody what we love about our distinctive hillside sites.
