{ "available": "false", "body_html": "<p><em>"In what was a difficult vintage, 2022 has produced some truly exceptional wines, particularly in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Cool and wet weather during flowering resulted in incredibly low crops, whilst the volume was not there, the quality is outstanding. The small yields and cool growing conditions have produced wines of great concentration of flavour with great natural acidity and fine structure.</em></p> <p><em>The majority of this Pinot Noir comes from mature plantings of the MV6 clone, with some younger blocks of 115, 777 and Able clones adding vibrancy, depth and complexity. 90% of the wine is whole berry fermented in 5t fermenters after a 3-day cold soak, and gently pumped other twice daily, where it remains on skins for roughly 20 days. The remaining 10% of the fruit is fermented as whole bunches in 1t pots. The wines are then pressed to a combination of new (barely 15%) and used oak for maturation and malolactic conversion with the whole bunch component kept separate. After 10 months the wines are then blended and bottled with minimal filtration and no fining.</em></p> <p><em>Resulting complex fruit focused wine that has a beautiful perfume of red berry fruits, spice and charcuterie, with a vibrant palate of juicy red cherries and pomegranates, subtle tannin and fresh acidity to ensure a long and smooth finish.
