"This beer was an experiment on fermenting Ella hops in a barrel with saison and brett. After 8 months in the barrel we aged the beer in the bottle for another 6 months and the outcome is something reminiscent of a tart saison. There are notes of tropical fruit in the background and a savoury spicy earthiness upfront. The hops and oak leave a tiny tannic grip on the finish which along with the tartness make this beer extremely moreish. A complex yet drinkable beer that crosses borders and could be enjoyed by beer and wine drinkers alike." - Molly Rose
