The precious grapes for this fragrant and deeply coloured wine were grown far to the south-east, in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.</em></p> <p><em>For wine nerds like me: Fair winter rains were punctuated by a rare October hailstorm in Stone Well, damaging young shoots and reducing yields.
