"On the Eastern fringe of Eden Valley the maverick Stonegarden Vineyard was established in the early 1860's. Post war, aroudn 1946, a block was replanted to a rainbow of aromatic whites, mainly red and white Muscat a Petits Grains, liberally peppered with Riesling, Crouchen and Verdelho.
For Wine Nerds Like Me: The Stonegarden field blend together with Semillon from the Barossa Valley and Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills, 60% 2020, 40% 2019. Half fermented on skins, giving pronounced structure with a drying finish, golden hue and intense aromatics. Matured in barrel for nine months." - Michael Hall
