"The Naimanya Vineyard sits high in the Eden Valley at 520 meters altitude, on the south-west fringe of the tiny sub-region known as Flaxman's Valley. The soils are sandy loam, gravel and quartz over clay. Its altitude and soil structure allow a long, slow ripening season typically generating marked spice and floral characters.
For Wine Nerds Like Me: Abundant winter rain followed by a cool spring and summer heralded a late vintage. hand-picked on 19th April, wild fermented in closed punchen (14%) and open fermenter, matured in French oak (29% new, Saint Martin) for 20 months. Unfiltered." - Michael Hall
