"Dry Red Wine.

An outlier in the wine world… Petit Verdot usually finds itself hidden amongst blends of better-known grapes like cabernet, and ordinarily, this is because it can be such a brute: massive in tannin, structure and alcohol.

The new 2023 Schism Petit Verdot is exactly the opposite: ultra light, super slurp-able, laden with sweet blackberries and cherries, but holding a spicy balance through the entire experience. It’s a truly dynamite wine with masses of character. Just as at home straight from the pantry as it is from the fridge.

These vineyards are now in their 33rd year of production, having been planted in 1990. Like everything, they get better with age. The quality of fruit from this vineyard is such a pleasure to work with, let alone drink!
