"The Sangiovese grapes were harvested from block 13 of our Upton Run vineyard using a selective process harvester on the last day of April, 2021 – a month later then the previous vintage. After gentle crushing, the juice was fermented in stainless steel to maximise colour and preserve primary fruit flavours and aromas. For nine months this wine was matured with old French (50%) and American (50%) oak. The combination of these create a great balance of vanilla and oak spice.

Colour: Vibrant cherry red.

Nose: Dark cherry, floral and herbaceous notes, with hints of violet and rose petals.

Palate: Intense dark cherry with hints of plum. A medium bodied wine, with dusty tannins, spice on the finish and great length." - Fowles
