"For years, we at Equipo Navazos have had the project of launching a couple of vermouths made to our own specifications: one completely dry, the other with moderate sweetness and pure aromas. Finally, we've managed to convince the friends who handle the marketing of our wines to take the plunge and seek out enthusiasts who can appreciate such authentic and distinctive vermouths. We're confident that the small production run will be well-received, but at least we've already achieved our first goal: having a few cases in our personal cellars to enjoy as an aperitif and to prepare the best cocktails in the world.
La Bota de Vermut Rojo 122 is, like all vermouths, an aromatized wine. In this case, the wine is a young oloroso of noble Jerez origin that, thanks to Eduardo Ojeda's mastery, has been transformed into a vermouth of understated sweetness and elegant bitterness, where citrus notes stand out. Clean and complex, to be enjoyed in the traditional style with ice and, if you like, a slice of orange. Or to prepare the most delicious Manhattan imaginable." -Equipo Navazos
