The Matriarch

She may look like your mum on a big night out but The Matriarch is much more than meets the eye: A sheep dressed up in lambs clothing, slightly hazy and all foam on top. The juiciest rumours surround her life but they pale in comparison to the truth. She's generous with her perfume like this brew is with aromas of citrus, pineapple and stone fruit. She should be bitter from all she's seen and done, but instead she is fresh, hopped up juicy number that's full bodied in every sense of the word.

The Double Matriarch
Double NEIPA | 8.5% | 440ml
Over the years, The Matriarch’s grip on the underworld has grown ever stronger, her wealth and power now doubled! And as her enemies tumble around her, the first lady of haze stands tall, and as tasty as ever. She’s filled with the same tropical flavours she is known for - whacks of fresh citrus, juicy pineapple and stone fruit repeatedly punch you in the face, while simultaneously smothering you with her signature pillowy soft mouthfeel and finish.

The West Coast Matriarch
West Coast IPA | 6.9% | 440ml
The Matriarch’s arrived in the 90210, rollin’ like a celebrity on the old Rodeo. She ain’t no housewife and her fashion sense is a little whack, but in that handbag’s a knife and she’ll still give you a smack. Her plump lips pop as we inject this beer’s troppo hops, and there’s a touch more colour to her than in previous drops. They say life’s a beach and then you die, don’t they? Well you best savour this bitter and fruity West Coast IPA.

The Experimental Matriarch

It’s time to introduce a little anarchy, and our matriarchal force majeure is hell bent on empirical entropy. With an experimental yeast strain that unlocks previously unreachable thiols, she is harnessing her brand-new hop’s full aromatic potential. Throw in a quantum of saturated sesquiterpenes, chaotic compounds and some trademark tumult for pure propriety pandemonium! A clean malt profile is the only known variable in this hypothetical hoppy hubbub, and in theory we expect bags of citrus, passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours as a result.
