"Founded in 1824, Balmenach is one of Speyside's most traditional distilleries. In 1930, they welcomed a little innovation in the form of a Saladin Box that allowed the malting process to become economically friendly. What can we say? It's a mash up between Tron and Futurama's idea of how the internet started. A visual spectacle of neon line-drawing of parody retail buildings like: The Nile, Disaster of Malt and Cowgate Liquor. On the Tron-like bikes are familiar whisky faces working through a stack of whisky reviews and a Twitter feed.

NOSE: Sweet and weighty, buttery shortbread, Victoria sponge and subtle spice.

PALATE: Balanced and bold, with oak, fresh tropical fruits, hits of cinnamon and cardamom. Sherry, more oak and dried papaya through the finish." -That Boutique-y Whisky Company
