"The wines of the 2019 vintage are expressive. One of their characteristics is aromatic purity. The maturation cycle will ultimately have been shorter for this vintage. Vintage 2019 : a great success which confirms that the terroir is essential. The vines grow on clay-limestone soil. Alcoholic fermentation is performed in vats for 10 to 14 days at temperatures between 26 and 32°C. Throughout this process, the must is pumped over twice daily so as to maximize the extraction of colour and tannins. Malolactic fermentation is performed in stainless steel tank. To finish the wine is racked, aged for 6 to 10 months and the bottled." - Vignobles Berthier
