"Berry Bros. & Rudd can trace it's origins back to 1608 when the Widow Bourne founded her shop opposite St Jame's Palace. Today, the present generation of Berrys and Rudds continue to manage the family owned business from the same premises at 3 James's Street.

So called because of the shade of clothes he wore as a young man, William 'Blue' Haner, Lord Coleraine, was a loyal customer of Berrys at the end of the 18th century, and the best dressed man of his day.
