"Set aside, cast off, baby in the corner. Long overlooked Trousseau takes its glasses off and BAM– striking beauty. Here it’s light, it’s pretty, but with a robust edge. Certainly, its charms require coaxing on the winemaker’s bench, but nothing worth having comes easy. And from the humblest of ingredients, can come the richest of treats. Move over Maggie, our 2024 Pâté has arrived.

Harvested in the cool of morning. 100% destemmed, wild fermented on skins for 3 weeks. Gently hand plunged twice daily. Matured in seasoned barriques for 4 months. Full and spontaneous MLF.

NOSE: Gravelly earth, summer berries and dried herbs.

PALATE: Summer berries and potpourri meet savoury peppercorns and cured meats. It's a lovely balance, underpinned by a tart liveliness and velvety tannins. Dark but delicate, fruit and spice and all things nice.
