3 Ravens x Carwyn Cellars x Golden Brown 'Coffee Conspiracy' Imperial Stout
For this variant we partnered with local legends of the coffee industry - Golden Brown - to source and roast some of the best coffee we could get our hands on. We were very keen to showcase the “Gesha” varietal of coffee - a low yielding coffee variety that is renowned for its intense floral characteristics - and through numerous discussions, trial roasts and cuppings we landed on a double anaerobic natural process coffee from Sebastian Gomez in Colombia, and was added to the beer post fermentation using a cold brewing method we’ve dubbed the “Coffee Torpedo”.
