First box of 2026 and the line up is looking LOVELY! From fresh IPAs from some of the top hop masters in Sydney, through to a BBA Barleywine that has spent an insane 42 months in barrel, and everything in between!
What's in the box:
Phillips • Longboat
Chocolate Porter | 5.2% | Victoria, BC Canada
A big-ass bottle for a classic brew all the way from BC! This staple by this Victoria brewery is all about simplicity and great balance, something that sometimes is forgotten when dealing with adjuncts such as chocolate and cocoa. Notes of Milo cereal, Hersheys chocolate, roast and a semi dry finish. High drinkability with that delicious chocolate (like the milk left in the bowl after you finish your Milo).
Four Winds • Nectarous
Dry Hopped Sour | 5.5% | Delta, BC Canada | ⭐
With over a decade in the thriving Vancouver/BC community, Four Winds have established themselves as one of those breweries that go through all kinds of styles. Nectarous is one of their most popular flagship beers, and you can really tell why: Notes of Underripe Nectarine & Lychee, with an assertive tartness a dry finish, and solid carbonation. Super smashable and well balanced, it’s rare to see kettle sour be as popular as this!
Good Land • Chonk V2
Imperial Pastry Stout | 9.5% | Traralgon, VIC Australia | 😱
Good Land have very quickly established themselves as the Pastry Lords of Victoria. No one makes beers of this calibre (and richness). Chonk V2 takes that to the next level, and just like its predecessor, it’s 100% THICC. Lashes of Roast, Banana Split, Golden Rough and Syrup. The Tiramisu & Affogato mentioned on the can truly come through, while the booze manages to stay hidden. Not many cans of these were made available, so we are elated to be sharing these chonky boys with you!
Hawkers • Four Seasons: Autumn 2026
Wet-Hopped Double West Coast IPA | 9.0% | Reservoir, VIC Australia | 😱
A new iteration of the now classic Hawkers Four Seasons series. This time they’ve included Fresh Hops (before drying and pelletising) for that extra layer of character and herbalness, perfect timing to be honest, as the beginning of Autumn is the start of the Hop Harvest season in the Southern Hemisphere. The beer has Marmalade, Orange pith and Dried peach character, with underlying herbalness. Resinous AF with a solid bitterness like a proper West Coast should have.
Working Title • Pipe Dream
Pastry Imperial Red Ale | 7.5% | Newstead, QLD Australia | ⭐
Oh, what a delight it is to see these legends back on our shelves (and in The One!). In our opinion Working Title might be one of the most daring and risk-taking breweries in the country. They have a fascination to try obscure styles, dabble into Meadery, and educate through their socials (check their Beer Geek Wednesdays posts!), besides their more “normal” releases. This beer is such an interesting but tasty take on an Imperial Red Ale, with notes of Fudge, Flan and Caramel Pudding, with light Salty bits in the middle and followed by a bitter aftertaste.
Pohjala • Apricotta
Brandy Barrel Aged American Strong Ale | 12.0% | Tallinn, Estonia | ⭐
Yes! The Estonian legends are back! No Baltic Porters this time by the Northern European brewers, but an American Strong Ale that has been Barrel-Aged in Apricot Brandy barrels. The unique barrel character just takes this brew into a whole new level of flavour: Dried Apricot, Pear, Cognac, Rum & Raisin backed by some sweeter candy notes like Caramello Koalas & Fruchocs. With the low carbonation, it really has fortified wine vibes. Sip away friends.
Schlenkerla x Pinta • A La Grodziskie
Piwo Grodziskie | 2.9% | Bamberg, Germany x Weiprz, Poland
This one is a unique collaboration with these popular Polish brewers, as it steps outside the usual German styles that the Bamberg legends are used to brewing. This collaboration grabs this mild and highly carbonated style from Poland and gives it the Schlenkerla treatment. Notes of mild honey, savoury, smoke & brine (like a smoky martini) but on a very refreshing and easy-drinking base.
Dieu du Ciel! • Peche Mortel Bourbon 2023
Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee Imperial Stout | 9.5% | Montreal, QC Canada | ⭐
This Québécois(e) brewery (established in 1998) is well known for their bold beers, and this one is no exception. Truly a trip down memory lane, when these styles had never been seen before. This “Mortal Sin” is big and boozy, with notes of Marzipan, Toast, Dark Fruit & Coffee. The Bourbon comes through as it warms up followed by mild notes of Cola, Cinnamon & Dried Coconut. Wowza!
Leroy • Poperings Hommelbier Dry Hopped
Belgian IPA | 7.5% | Ieper, Flanders Belgium
Nothing like getting a reminder of what a proper Belgian IPA is. This Leroy brew has all the notes you’d expect of this elusive style, with a bold bitterness, plenty of hop character and esters that keep on coming through. Notes of Moist Hay, Banana Esters, Dried Apricots, Red Apple Skin and Plantain.
Future • Golden Fog
DDH Hazy Double IPA | 8.0% | St Peters, NSW Australia | ⭐
Some of the best IPAs in the country are currently coming out from Sydney. Future Brewing is 100% one of the breweries responsible for this new crafty takeover. Big Double and Triple Hazys are some of Future’s specialties and this juicy number is no exception with big notes of Pineapple Candy, Mango Nectar & Breakfast Juice. Plus mild Cantaloupe coming through, and followed by a bitter finish. Veredict? Big yum.
Bracket • Chinook
DDH Double IPA | 8.5% | Marrickville, NSW Australia | ⭐
Some of the best news we’ve had over the last year or so from the Australian IPA world was the fact that Bracket managed to find a new home in Marrickville. We welcome these great hop specialists back to The One with their take on a Single Hop Double Hazy, and what a treat it is to see a classic and quintessential American hop like Chinook make an appearance! Notes of Resin & Dried Mango with a bold bitterness and resinous aftertaste. It really brings back good hoppy memories.

MORE • Roaming Elephant Prachin
Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine | 15.0% | Huntly, IL USA | ⭐
As per usual, we’ve managed to secure 100% of the allocation of this beer in the country, and you are the first ones to get a taste of it, and oh boy what a beast this is! Aged for 42 months (wow) in both W.L. Weller & Old Fitzgerald bourbon barrels (renowned Bourbons in the US), this Barleywine holds massive Bourbon character with a light savouriness, big notes of Dulce de Leche, Toast, Biscuits, Dried Fruit, Vanilla and of course Oak. Big and boozy, as expected, let it warm up a bit and enjoy.
