What's in the box:
Bracket • House Rules
Double IPA | 7.2% | Marrickville, NSW | ⭐
Bracket have proven themselves as kings of brewing Double IPAs in this country – excitedly, this release sees them look back through their past DIPA recipes and pull together all their favourite parts to make one magical brew – House Rules. Hazy, and thick, it has a seductive apricot & floral naval orange aroma. Peach sorbet, lemon grass & lime zest, with a medium soft mouthfeel and a lingering sappy bitterness.
Kicks • Critical Mass
DDH Hazy IPA | 7.2% | Marrickville, NSW | ⭐
We’re not sure what’s in the Marrickville water, but by goodness the IPAs coming out of here are bangers! The second in this box, Critical Mass is loaded with Peacherine, with a sprinkle of Nelson Sauvin. White grape, passionfruit and stone fruit on the nose. A beautiful soft texture with balancing bitterness at the end to really give it some dimension. Peachy goodness with a savoury diesel edge.
Grimm • Butterfly Door
Double IPA | 8.0% | Brooklyn, NY USA | ⭐
Grimm Artisanal Ales is one of the most exciting breweries in Brooklyn, New York, their beautiful taproom is a must-visit (with an attached pizza shop that is nothing short of delicious) and they nail every single style they brew! One of the most recent additions to the Double and Triple IPA “door series”, this Double Hazy presents notes of Peach Pie, Pulpy OJ and refreshing Peach Gelato.
Azvex • Strategic Reserve 4
Imperial Pastry Stout | 11.0% | Liverpool, England | ⭐
We had never tried a beer by Azvex before, and this beer really blew our minds! Coming from rainy Merseyside, and founded in the middle of 2020, Azvex came from a group of well-travelled beer people that wanted to stand out with big bold beers, and honestly the experience speaks for itself. This beer coats the glass as it pours jet-black and thick, with massive sweet notes of Pecan Pie, Caramello Koala, and Maple Syrup. Absolutely delicious! For extra indulgence, pour It over ice cream.
Evil Twin • Say Even More
Dry Coffee Stout | 8.4% | Queens, NY USA
The iconic brewery from NYC with Danish origins is back in Australia! This brew is based around their world-famous ‘Even More Jesus’ series, all strong stouts with different adjuncts/additions. This is a bold and dry stout conditioned on coffee beans with a medium-full body, and big character resembling Coffee Cake, 90% Cacao Chocolate and some deep char notes. Makes us feel like New Yorkers walking around with our morning drip coffee.
3 Fonteinen • Gele Perzik Bio
Peach Lambic | 6.8% | Beersel, Belgium | ⭐
What a delight it is to see 3 Fonteinen back in The One! Always some of the best quality Lambics and Gueuzes you can find in Belgium. This time we have a fruited Lambic made with Yellow Peaches from a small farm in northern Spain. The fruit character really pops in this tart Wild Ale! With that Peach character very prominent, almost like Tinned Peaches. Other notes resemble Cooked Apple, Fresh Quince and White Grapes with a minerally finish.
Sierra Nevada • Bigfoot 2026
American Barleywine | 9.6% | Chico, CA USA | ⭐
Perhaps the most iconic traditional American Barleywine to come from the US! Bigfoot is one of those beers that will take you straight back to the birth of the craft beer movement in the 1990s, with a bold character and more IBUs than you can count! High malt complexity with notes of Dates, Caramel and Raisins, with a light spicy note throughout and a big whack of bitter hops that kick like a mule! A standard in American Craft Beer history.
Wildflower x Mike Bennie • Foudre #3 Sparkling
Wild Ale | 5.2% | Marrickville, NSW | ⭐
This might be the last Wildflower beer we’ll see for a while! With their Marrickville location now closed, it’s a waiting game as they find somewhere to relocate in line with their sustainable farmhouse brewing ethos. This release is made in collaboration with Wine expert and writer Mike Bennie and its been aged for 3.5 years in a single Foudre. The funk is noticeable with that classic farmhouse vibe, subdued acidity and lightly vinous, with notes of Light Quince and Dehydrated Apple.
Devilbend x The Mill • 120 Day Pilsner
German Pilsner | 5.0% | Tuerong x Collingwood, VIC
When it comes to making Lagers, Michael Stanzel from Devilbend (former Burnley Brewing) is one of the best brewers in the entire country. This beer has been brewed in collaboration with the legends at The Mill and it’s been patiently lagering for 120 days. The result is worth the wait – it is everything you’d want from a clean and crisp lager. Bready malt base, a good bitter backbone, and light spice from the hops used. A top tier thirst quencher!
De Struise • XXX Rye Triple Reserva Bourbon Barrel Aged
Barrel Aged Dark Ryewine | 10.0% | Vleteren, Belgium
De Struise is one of those breweries that just loves to push styles over the edge and make them their own. They are known for beers that cannot compare to anything else, and are master at making Big, Bold and Dark brews. This beer is a perfect example, with Bourbon Barrels as the ageing vessel, and a big Triple Rye Dark Ale as the base beer. The result is a huge brew with notes of Dark Fruit, Raisins, Cocoa Powder, Cooked Red Apple an underlying Vinous and Sherry-like character.
Dupont x Cambier • Bal Musette
Double Rye Saison | 7.2% | Leuze-en-Hainaut, Belgium x Croix, France
There’s something just so beautiful about a Dupont beer in a tinnie. This time, it is a rare collab with a great brewery from northern France (crowned Brewery of the Year 2023 by Bière Magazine). Dupont claims that this is only their third brewed collab ever, and the first one with another European brewery. This special brew really makes use of that Rye, with Rustic and Spicy notes on the nose, clean funk and a stonefruit-forward but dry finish and a slowly creeping and lingering bitterness.

Anchorage • The Handover
Barrel Aged Barleywine/Dark Ale Blend | 14.0% | Anchorage, AK USA | ⭐
This monster was originally brewed for our WA-based beer importer friends Forward Hops. This beer blends triple-oaked A Deal with the Devil, with a double-oaked, double dark ale brewed specially for this project. Brewed to commemorate the sale of Forward Hops to Fox Friday, with the latter going into VA while the beer was crossing the Pacific, this is now a unique story that surrounds this brew. Massive body with notes of Caramel Swirl, Fudge Brownie, Vegemite & Jim Beam Slurry, Blackberry Jam, Cherry Ripe and Old Fashioned. A showcase of the wonders that ageing can do to a beer.
