De Dolle • Stille Nacht (2024)
Belgian Strong Golden Ale | 12.0% | Diksmuide, Flanders, Belgium | ⭐
Direct from the region of Flanders comes this brewery founded in 1980, in a building that dates to 1835! This is their Xmas beer, and for a brew called “Silent Night”, it sure is loud in flavour. Quince, Red Apple and other Pomme flavours, with a pie-like base and a very well hidden alcohol. Brewed in open fermenters, this beer is as traditional as Xmas!
De Dolle • Oerbier Special Reserva (2023)
Wine Barrel Aged Flanders Oud Bruin | 10.0% | Diksmuide, Flanders, Belgium | ⭐
“Reserva” is the name given to the barrel-aged beers by De Dolle. This particular Oerbier is a blend of twelve different Italian wine barriques that previously held mostly Amarone and some Montepulciano. The outcome of this ageing process comes through as stewed apples with a light acetic character, with vinous complexity and dark dried fruit. It’s tart but really well balanced.
Spencer • Monk's Reserve Ale
Belgian Dark Strong Ale | 12.0% | Spencer, MA, America
What was once the only Trappist-certified brewery outside of Europe! While sadly ceasing operations in 2022, Spencer Brewery was a brewery run by St. Joseph’s Abbey and was making some top-quality and award-winning Trappist style brews since 2014 just like this incredible Quad, which has naturally lost some carbonation due to ageing but, has evolved in complexity and retains those dates & chrissy pud vibes we love.
Schloss Eggenberg • Samichlaus Schwarzes
Dark Doppelbock / Barleywine | 14.0% | Salzkammergt, Austria
The darker side to the Classic Samichlaus by Schloss Eggenberg that is also brewed on December 6th every year. This unique style that can be described as a Doppelbock/Barleywine hybrid (and also called a Malt Liquor) and is aged for 10 months before bottling so it settles and smoothes out. Great for cellaring or enjoying right away (or saving for Christmas) with a complex array of flavours. Notes of blackcurrant, molasses, light roast and a deep toast malt character. A true Xmas delight.
Augustiner-Bräu • Edelstoff
Dortmunder Export Lager | 5.6% | Munich, Germany
Coming from the oldest brewery in Munich, the great Augustiner-Bräu, we have one of the beers that people don’t get to try as often as their highly rated Helles and their yearly Oktoberfestbier: a German Helles Exportbier! Crisp and golden but with a little extra kick from hop bitterness and alcohol, an excellent beer to enjoy in the sunny summer afternoons with bready, lemon and herbal notes balanced perfectly.
Uraidla • Onslaught
Triple Hazy IPA | 10.0% | Uraidla, South Australia | ⭐
The IPA fiends from Adelaide Hills, have put everything they’ve learned this year into this hop-monster. Hopped with Citra, Cryo Citra, Quantum Citra, Mosaic and NZH-106; and brewed with a heavy dose of oats and wheat for a custard-like appearance, which the flavour follows. An absolute banger with notes of Caramelized Pineapple, Spicy mango and Ripe Peach.
Equilibrium • Pistachio Dream Dessert
Imperial Pastry Stout | 11.0% | Middletown, NY USA | ⭐
Proper dessert made into beer! The New York legends have spared no ingredient while making this viscous brew. Sweet roasty aromas, with light nutty notes. The flavour comes through as pecan pie, and hot chocolate with roasted marshmallows. Unctuous and velvety. What a beer!
RaR • Reaper Redux 2025
Hazy Double IPA | 8.0% | Cambridge, MD USA | ⭐
Yes, it is a RaR beer, but no this is not the thick smoothie sour you would’ve expected! This is a showcase of what these cake bosses can do outside of the pastry beer world and outside their lactose-loaded Out of Order series! This IPA is incredibly punchy, with notes of Overripe Yellow Peaches, Gooseberry & Overripe Honeydew. Full bodied and fruity AF!
Finback • Brainalyzer
DDH Double IPA | 8.2% | Queens, NY USA | ⭐
These Queens-based brewers have recently changed their look and we are so happy to have them back on our shelves! This particular release ‘Brainalyzer’ is described as being “dry hopped with all the hops” and the character is definitely massive: Chamomile, Dank, Nectarine, Orange blossom, etc. You can find more and more as you go on!
Vitamin Sea x Trillium • Duckie Under A Bridge
Double Hazy IPA | 8.5% | East Waymouth x Canton, MA USA | ⭐
Quack Quack! Two excellent and hop-forward breweries from Boston together for a big hazy collab! Vitamin Sea just arrived in Australia for the first time ever, and this collaboration is one for the ages! Brewed with Chinook, Rakau, Citra and Abstrax Quantum Brite CIT, it shows layers of Grapefruit, Pine, Underripe Mango & Resin, reminiscing of Old School IPAs in a Hazy suit.
One Drop • More Than A Player
DDH Triple IPA | 10.0% | Botany, New South Wales | ⭐
One big-ass beer from their final drop of the year! Brewed with Nectaron CRYO, Citra CRYO and hand-selected Nelson Sauvin from the latest NZ harvest, plus their world-famous Clean Fusion technique, this luscious TIPA shows notes of Golden Kiwi, Light Diesel, Mango Sorbet and Underripe White Peach, with a big bitter backbone but luscious texture.

Barrel Aged Apple Pie Inspired Barleywine | 14.0% | Anaheim, CA, USA | ⭐
It’s been a couple of years since we included a Bottle Logic Stasis beer in The One, and since we got our hands on the only bottles of this Barleywine in the country, we couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to share with you! This Apple-pie inspired Bourbon BA English Barleywine has massive Coconut notes at first but as the palate adapts after the second or third sip, notes of Tarte Tatin and Apple Cinnamon come through as it warms up.
