This December, we are excited (and slightly terrified) to be hosting one of the most audacious events ever attempted in Carwyn history…
This month-long showcase comers after similar successful events with both the legends at Garage Project in 2017 and Rangecember by Range Brewing in 2022, we simply couldn’t say no when Nick and Clay from One Drop came knocking...
One Drop Apocalypse
Over the course of the December we will be celebrating all that is One Drop Brewing, by pouring an apocalyptic number of kegs from these masters of thick smoothies, luscious pastries, hop saturation and all manner of experimental (yet undeniably delicious) beers. All up, expect to see FIFTY-FIVE different One Drop kegs pouring over the month!
From Friday December 1st until Sunday 31st over half of our taps in the main bar will be dedicated to the wacky and astonishing creations by these Botany legends. From Phantasm IPAs to decoction lagers, pastry stouts, hard lemonades, slushy sours and even hemp brown ales! If one thing is certain, it is that there is no limit to the creativity and quality of One Drop, so we’re more than a tad excited by what we’ll get to try throughout this month-long festive journey!

With over 55 different beers and drinks hitting our taps throughout the whole month, what better way to get started than with a HUGE opening party on Friday 1st December, alongside the Botany Bay legends who are flying all the way in from NSW!
Here's a rundown of the shenanigans:
- A choice selection of 15 of One Drop’s finest on tap from midday
- Launch of the One Drop collab event pie with Pie Thief: Drop It Slow - Sour Mango & Chicken Pie
- FREE keg poured from 5pm until runs dry (say wha?)
- Meet the One Drop team from 5pm
- Give aways: merch, glasses, and yet-to-be released beers
- One Drop taking over the tunes for the night

PIE COLLAB: 'Drop It Slow' Sour Mango & Chicken Pie
One Drop x Pie Thief x Carwyn Cellars
As a very exciting cherry on top, we’ll be teaming up with local pastry gods Pie Thief for a month-long collab pie. Using One Drop’s latest limited release collab beer with Slow Lane, a barrel aged heavily fruited mango sour called Drop it Slow. This Sour Mango & Chicken Pie will be available all month (or until sold out) from the bar. ****ing yum!
