Where it all began. The very first Canvent box was limited to just 200 boxes (long story with being late to send to print and additional airfreighting). The beers in this very first Canvent were widely available and were a selection of releases we were loving. The very next year we upped the ante with beers brewed specifically for the box and, well, the rest is history!⁠

Back in 2017, writing things down at Carwyn Cellars was limited to chalkboard taplists and the occasional scribble on a post-it note. We've scoured every inbox, group chat and social media post we could find, but the original 2017 Canvent lineup seemed lost in the ether. Thankfully, some dedicated OG craft beer fans out there went full detective on help us fill in the gaps - a big thank you to all who sent through lists and photos to help confirm the lineup!
