"Amber in colour, this unique rum was created by Lorena Vasquez, Master Blender for Zacapa, as a tribute to Guatemala's Volcanoes. The ashes contribute to a fertile land, which today gives us the special sweetness of sugar cane we use to develop Zacapa. It is a blend of rum from 4 to 12 years, aged above the clouds, using the Sistema Solera, and sequence barrels that previously stored robust American whiskeys, fine Jerez wines and charred American White Oak barrels." -Ron Zacapa
