"In 1992, unable to find a decent bottle of Orange Bitters, weekend alchemist Gary Regan set out to create a product of his own. Inspired by a formula from Charles H. Baker, Jr. in the Gentleman's Companion, he found success on his fourth batch. Eventually, Regan collaborated with the Sazerac Company to make a formula that was more stable. The result was Regans' Orange Bitters No. 6 which launched in 2005.
