Tilquin - Oude Gueuze a L'ancienne 375ml
"The old-fashioned Gueuze Tilquin (7.0% alc / vol) is a spontaneous fermentation beer made from a blend of 1, 2 and 3 year-old lambics. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, it is refermented in the bottle for a minimum period of 6 months. The lambics used are fermented and matured in oak barrels in our facilities. They are made from must brewed by the Boon, Lindemans, Girardin and Cantillon breweries.
Its taste is sour and dry but has a certain roundness which makes this old-fashioned Gueuze particularly accessible to non-connoisseurs. It will also delight fans of the genre with its sweet complexity. It also presents a slight dry bitterness due to the youth of the oak barrels used, these still releasing some tannins. It has a lemony and fresh nose." - Tilquin
