We love to experiment, a little bit, with traditional styles and with the assertiveness of the hop character within the original Pivo it gave us an idea. Let’s temper that with an additional malt balance and increase the ABV to the extent that the Budjevecky Bdudvar yeast strain could handle. And the Císa?ské Pivo was born. After a high pitch rate and clean ferment what we have now is a warming, balanced malt and hop forward beer that blurs the line between big beer and drinkable lager.
