Horal stands for the High Council for Artisanal Lambic Beers; they are to Lambics what CAMRA is to Real Ales for Belgium’s Payottenland and Valley of the Senne. Their board is comprised of many of the world’s top Lambic producers and every two years a selection of these breweries open their doors to the public during Horal’s festival Toer de Geuze. What’s more the breweries involved all contribute Lambic to, what has been aptly named, the Megablend (said in a deep, booming, God-like voice)! This blend from the 2019 Toer which includes a young and old lambics from Boon, De Oude Cam, De Troch, Hanssens, Lindemans, Oud Beersel, Tilquin and Timmermans.
